DECORATING YOUR HOME FOR FALL

Even though it is going to be 89 degrees in St. Augustine, Fla. creating a Fall environment in your home is so uplifting.

I shopped at Haven, a local thrift store, as well as Marshals and found everything I needed for my autumn creation.

I embellished my front door with a gorgeous wreath that states WELCOME TO OUR HOME and a front door mat that greets you with THANKFUL!

I found an autumn runner and a vintage scale at OUT THERE ANTIQUES marked down 50%, which I placed on my dining room table, added pumpkins, battery run brass lamps and candles(from AMAZON). I felt like it needed a pop of color and added blue and white Spode dishes on a wicker round placemat. This look creates a more casual look on a formal table.

The round Fall table cloth, large elegant pumpkin, Fall tossed pillow from Amazon, and FALL garland( with lights) complete this look adding a gorgeous throw, a gift from England. I converted my dining room to what I call “A SNUG”, very popular in England.

I embellished my living room with Fall tossed pillows, Fall candles and a pumpkin.

The warm and inviting Autumn motif adds such a cozy, wonderful feel in my home. This theme will carry me until the week after Christmas where we joyfully decorate for Christmas.
