Travels to LONDON
Traveling to LONDON. We flew out of Orlando, About a 9 hour flight on British Airways, a fantastic experience, efficient, great food, great service, absolutely top notch.
We had the privilege of staying at the Royal Air Force Club, for members and guests only. The hotel was exquisitely embellished in every detail. A great environment for High tea.
We hopped on the double decker bus. A great way to tour this magical city. Had a stop at Fortnum and Maison, the department store where the Royals shop. What a shopping experience!
Seeing Westminster Abby in the snow was an unforgettable experience.
A must while in London is having High Tea. The servers, all men, dressed in exquisite, formal attire. Each little finger food was beyond exceptional. Start off with tea sandwiches on the first level of the tiered tray. Usually chicken salad. Salmon, egg salad, pimento cheese. and, of course cucumber. Next layer is scones, served with clotted cream, lemon curd, and jam. You top it off with an assortment of petit fours.
London is truly a wonderful place to visit. The KING had other plans, or otherwise he would have joined us for tea,
