The Story
The brief was rest. We kept the inherited four-poster bed, softened the palette to ivory and sage, and added a camel throw for warmth against the cooler tones.
Layered lighting — sconces, a bedside lamp, and a dimmed overhead — lets one room serve morning coffee and late reading equally well.
